What is the BIG DEAL with Raw Foods?

Angela-before.jpgWhat is the big deal you ask? The people I know choosing a Raw Food lifestyle are very, very healthy and vibrant. They made the choice due to a physical disease of one kind or another and found complete wellness with raw food. Essentially: I want what they have!

I will address some of my physical symptoms that led me to want to improve my lifestyle. Solid nutrition is a proven way to support the body and while I have drastically changed my eating habits in the past 6 years - away from pop, processed foods, high-fat foods, I have not lost any weight. I still have sugar cravings, hormone fluctuations. I still overeat and get tired easily. I meditate almost daily which helps tremendously with stress, but I don't always support my body with the right food. And I believe it takes several elements for wellness. Exercise is included on that list, but I don't make it a priority in my daily routine. I am going to focus on the best food first and see where that takes me. There are some amazing testimonials on-line. I will be adding in links to them soon!
